Capello continues with Russia

Fabio Capello has reached an agreement with Russia's representative about a new contract which will keep him in the direction of the team until after the 2018 World Cup.

"I am thankful President URF (Russian Football Union) and Russian Minister of Sports (Vitaly Mutko) for having faith in me."

"I am very pleased that I will continue to work with Russia. We have big plans and I will do everything to make sure that Russian fans to be happy, "the Italian said in a statement on the official website of the URF.

Russia is set at the 2014 World Cup group H, where the rivals Belgium, Algeria and South Korea.
