Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will again wear the shirt of the team of which has increased, but only for a match with the legends of the club.
Gerrard will play a match in Sydney alongside other club legends Carrgher Jamie and Ian Rush, who will face Australian legends January 7.
"It would be fantastic to play with legends of Liverpool officially. It will be more to be on the field with a very good group of people. Fans have the best and play them again, I am sure it will be very exciting, "said Gerrard, Goal reports.
The England midfielder is on leave after the end of the season with LA Galaxy, the American club pre-season due to start on 15 January.
